The Student Status Letter verifies your status as a current student of the University.
a. Self Service
You may generate your own student status letter via mySIS. A step-by-step guide is available here.
b. Additional Requests
If there is an additional request, please submit a student status letter request here at least 5 working days before the document is needed. Yale-NUS Registry will review the request and contact you.
Examples of Additional Requests
- If you require additional remarks in the status letter (eg. your passport details, start and end of semester date etc).
- If you require an electronic copy of your status letter to be sent to an external academic organization in confidence.
- If you require a hard copy of your status letter to be sent to an external academic organization in confidence. Please note you will be informed to collect the student status letter from the Yale-NUS Student Services Centre.
Important: Please note the student status letter is computer-generated and no signature is required. The document will not be issued if a student has outstanding fees and/or other amount owed to the College or University.
